In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS111 to speak to a triage nurse.
If you contact NHS 111 you may be given telephone advice, or offered a consultation at the primary care centre or if genuinely unable to travel a visit at home.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and for the safety of our patients and staff; all face to face appointments will be seen at Orford Surgery and by appointment only.
We encourage all patients to request repeat medications online; see online services, however where necessary paper repeat requests can be posted through the letterbox at Orford. These are picked up daily and taken to Alderton for processing.

Temporary Closure of Hollesley Surgery
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Hollesley Surgery is currently closed.
All repeat prescriptions for dispensing patients can be collected from Alderton Surgery.
Repeat prescriptions slips will be picked up from Orford Surgery on a daily basis.
Repeat prescription slips will be picked up on Monday & Thursday from Hollesley.
Suffolk GP+ is for people who urgently need a doctor’s appointment or are unable to see their GP during normal GP hours.
Appointments can be made via the practice reception during our usual opening hours. Please note patients cannot refer themselves to this service.
The service is staffed by local Suffolk GPs and Nurse Practitioners in Ipswich, Felixtowe, Stowmarket, Leiston and Wickham Market and is an NHS service delivered by the Suffolk GP Federation. You will receive a booked appointment and will be seen by a local GP or nurse who will have access to your medical records (once consent is given).
111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
